Duration: February 2018 - March 2018
Reason for Leaving: Upon being hired they had all intentions of launching the end of February/beginning of March. They decided to re-brand and target a different demographic (all media had been targeted towards family - they re-directed their target demographic towards "sexy, high class") so the launch was pushed back an additional three months and they couldn't afford to keep me on, as they weren't selling product.
Responsibilities:
Worked with a team to plan digital strategy and content creation (blogs, imagery, copy) for social channels and website.
Social Media: Took photos (product, occasions (i.e. National Pi Day, first day of Spring), lifestyle) and carefully curated an aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid to engage customers and draw their attention, wrote copy for captions, scheduled out posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and created a Pinterest and posted to the account, engaged with other accounts, sought out brand influencers and company partnerships, etc.
Photo shoots: Assisted with photo shoots by creating shot lists and sets for both models and product shoots; edited photos in Photoshop.
Blog posts: Wrote copy, pulled photos, and formatted photos in Photoshop.
Website: Assisted with copy, proofread
Worked in Hootsuite, Photoshop, Shopify, and Slack.
